Q1. Thank you so much for your work today! To start things off, give us your impressions after the recording.
There was this sense of familiarity with the “manager”, like I had met him in another dimension, so it didn’t feel like a first recording for this role (laugh). (※ Check the interview page of「A’s×Darling」!)
The characters were a blast to interact with, so I'm looking forward to the next installments.
Q2. What kind of person is the character you play? Tell us about your impressions and their appeal. Are there any similarities between the character and you?
He’s serious… I suppose. I really felt that the four of them, straightforward, without any frivolity, were in a band because they adored music. Toki is stoic, keeps an eye on his members from afar, which makes him a very leader-like character. His seriousness, in a way, comes out differently when interacting with others, like at his part-time job or talking with his mother: it’s a small detail in my opinion, but I paid attention to it in my acting.
I don’t feel like I’m like him though. I don't think things through as logically as he does, I'm more of a passionate person! (laugh)
Q3. In Inkuro’s fashion, what were your hobbies when you were a student?
I guess it was video games. I bought my first computer when I entered high school, so internet kind of followed afterwards. At the time, I could be online with my phone, but I didn't have unlimited data… It was an era where I was really getting into the web world.
Q4. If you were a woman, which of the characters would you want to date? Tell us why.
Must be Tsugumi! Hibari has a sharp tongue and would point out every little thing I do, Mitsuru does things at his pace so I’m pretty sure we’d end up fighting over “Aren’t you bored with me!?” and Toki’s seriousness is just too much!
I can't get behind the “You’re the only one” play, I’m more of a "Can’t we fool around a bit more?” kind of vibe. I think that Tsugumi would make me naturally jealous, with a lot of ups and downs, because we both run high on our emotions, so I choose him! (laugh)
Q5. If you were in a band, is there any part you would like to play in particular? Additionally, if you could write lyrics or compose, which would you like to try?
(If you already did in the past, we'd love to hear about it!)
I wonder if I could be in a band... I don't want to learn how to play an instrument though… (laughs) If I had to choose based on my supposed genius ability to play said instrument, it would be the bass. I already have experience in songwriting but not composing, so I’d prefer to challenge myself! I'd like to start with Vocaloid first (laugh).
Q6. Finally, do you have any comments for your fans who are looking forward to the release of the CD?
This is the story of the band’s beginnings, so our main goal was to show what kind of people Inkuro are. I'm really looking forward to the songs and hope to raise the bar to see what our members are capable of. (laugh)
We hope that, when listening to the drama tracks, you'll think "Our band is the best!”. I hope you all will enjoy this CD as much as we do.
