Q1. Thank you so much for your work today! To start things off, give us your impressions after the recording.
I've never been in a band myself but I've been involved in music for a long time, so this band-themed project reminded me of the youth that comes with it, and I really enjoyed working for it!
Q2. What kind of person is the character you play? Tell us about your impressions and their appeal. Are there any similarities between the character and you?
Tsugumi is a character I can really relate to in his passionate love for music, but the way he expresses it is very different from mine… In some situations, he would say “I’m such a genius!”: that’s so not like me, in any way! (laugh). Though I believe it's great knowing the limits of your abilities, and say with confidence what you can do.
"I love music from the bottom of my heart and Inkuro is the best! I'll never lose!”: his straightforwardness with his feelings naturally attracts people towards him, that's why he's such a nice character to perform.
Q3. In Inkuro’s fashion, what were your hobbies when you were a student?
I played in a brass band, so I was really active in clubs. I used to play the tuba!
I've always liked playing instruments and singing with others; in that sense, I was able to relate to a lot of the things in this production.
Q4. If you were a woman, which of the characters would you want to date? Tell us why.
Of course, I’d pick Toki! (laugh) Isn't it so kind of him to cook and serve dinner for the person who fell asleep...?! The fact that he can cook is already a good selling point. I like when someone affectionately looks after me, no matter the excuses they may come up with to do so.
Mitsuru doesn’t seem to know what he should care for on a date, and Hibari sounds like he would be a real nitpicker… (laughs) Toki is the nicest of them all!
Q5. If you were in a band, is there any part you would like to play in particular? Additionally, if you could write lyrics or compose, which would you like to try?
(If you already did in the past, we'd love to hear about it!)
I love singing, so I think I'd like to be a vocalist… I play the piano at home for fun, but I don't have any experience in writing lyrics or composing. Both are very expressive ways of conveying what's within you.
Q6. Finally, do you have any comments for your fans who are looking forward to the release of the CD?
This is the story about the beginning of a band. Now that Inkuro is in full swing, we’ll see how the members influence each other and what kind of enthusiasm they can create as a rock band! ... Maybe, we’ll even battle against each other! We hope you will be able to witness the story of Tsugumi and the others who found someone they want to fight against.

Q1. What were your first impressions when you heard the song and read the lyrics?
As a rock band, I got the impression that they were stepping in rather confidently. The song alone conveys a powerful “With this group, we’re aiming for the top!” message, so I sang while thinking “I’m going to sing without hesitation!”, and whether or not it would be nice for Tsugumi too.
Q2. What was it like to actually sing it? Tell us what you were the most conscious about and what we should look forward to.
Tsugumi is set to be a genius singer, so I tried to include everything I had in mind in an approach that matched the rock music within the scope of his character. I hope the listeners can feel this different kinda’ rock!
Q3. What kind of songs would you like to sing as Inkuro in the future?
Huh…?! What I would like… As we are four in Inkuro, I’d like to sing with them as back vocalists (laugh)
